Jim Whitney
CAD Manager
Jim Whitney studied software engineering and spent the early portion of his professional career in the technology industry. Switching into the field of architecture later on, he joined Gumbinger Avram Architects in August 2005 and has used his technology background to develop CAD drafting standards and to streamline CAD production.
Mr. Whitney is responsible for production of CAD drawings in all project phases and training co-workers in best practice CAD standards. He also researches and evaluates new software and technology to keep the firm up to date, including working with Building Information Modeling (BIM) which adds great potential in improving the production speed and efficiency on projects in this office.
